Duck hunting games are available online, arcades, and as game cartridges. A lot of them are fun and made for children where others are awfully violent and bloody.
When I was young we played a game called Duck Hunt on the Nintendo 8 bit system that was released in the mid 1980s. Since their release in the 1970s, video games and duck hunting games have evolved dramatically.
I had so much fun using the tiny gray laser light gun to shoot the ducks when I used to be a kid on my first Nintendo. The graphics on video games now are nearly lifelike, with astounding 3D perspectives and scenes.
When you go to the video arcade, the games are very complicated and expensive. I have not found an arcade that has duck hunting games like they use to have back in the 1990s.
Most arcades probably would not make much money from a game with such ancient graphics when compared to Time Crisis or other current first person shooter games. It is really sad that the more recent video arcade games focus so much on action and entertainment than just pure fun and amusement like classic arcade games and duck hunting games.
Some of today’s modern day video games cost several dollars to play. When I was younger most video games were a quarter and even the best ones were only 50 cents.
There are not really many video arcades around today that carry the original video games that I played as a kid. I still remember riding my bike almost four miles to the local arcade to play games on a Saturday with my friends in the good old days. I sure did wasted alot of time playing Nintendo and duck hunting games as a kid.
I recently sold my Xbox on Ebay and no longer play Nintendo games at all at home. I’ve seen that my friends and brother become so addicted to these video games that it consumes their whole lives and I never want to be a couch potato like that.
Playing a video game here and there to relieve stress is ok just as long as it is not a part of my daily routine. Duck hunting games can be played in a couple of minutes and are not like World of Warcraft where you just play for hours on end.
