Executive office chairs are the best of all. A tall back, numerous adjustable features, natural leather and fine wood are the key distinguishing features of executive office chairs. When it comes to comfort and ergonomics, executive office chairs don’t have a match.
These chairs have another purpose, showing off high status and an executive look. They are expensive as compared to regular chairs. However, if your company is highly profitable, you may want to give all or at least some of your employees the comfort and luxury of executive office chairs. Executive office chairs are best for long sittings.
Another common application for executive office chairs is placing them in the waiting room of upper level executives and other management.
How to decide which type of executive office chair to purchase? A good lumbar support for a comfortable seating is a must. A padded seat and back are preferable, though not necessary. The arms should be adjustable both height-wise and width-wise. Positioning the arms the right way is of utmost importance, especially if you use the keyboard a lot. Some executive office chairs have extra padding on the armrests too.
An adjustable tilt, pneumatic seat-height adjustment, headrest adjustment, armrest adjustment and adjustable lumbar support etc. The list doesn’t end there. The more adjustable your chair the better.
If you want both comfort and style, there are other features that you can choose from. Good quality leather and wood will add to the face value of an executive office chair. Some executive office chairs go much further in giving a stylish look. Such chairs have wood panels, Italian leather or high-quality grain leather etc.
Certainly, not all of the executive office chairs are made from leather. Many are made from high-quality fabric, available in a variety of fabric colors and built to last. Fabric chairs generally have a larger selection of available colors, in comparison to leather executive chairs. Fabric chairs also tend to cost less than leather ones.
Most executive office chairs are black. Black is considered a professional and sophisticated color. Other executive office chairs are brown or burgundy.
Weight capacity of executive office chairs goes up to a 300 lbs.
If you want comfort, ergonomics and style in your workplace and if you are the kind of person who sits and works for long hours, what you need is an executive office chair.
